1995-2000

1996 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport
Who would have thought my list would include two C4 Corvettes, but here we are. In 1996 this was a performance bargain and that paint job is the stuff of American dreams.

1996 Mazda MX-5 Miata M-Edition
Can’t make a list like this without a Miata on it, so here it is. I always loved the ’96 M-Edition’s dark blue exterior contrasted with the tan interior. It just looks classy cool.

1997 Chevrolet Camaro 30th Anniversary SS LT4
Although the LS1 fourth-generation Camaros were the better performers, I never liked the looks of them. I preferred the more traditional look of the earlier models with their quad sealed beam headlights. And this particular model made me fall in love with Camaros. 1997 Nissan Skyline GT-R R33
I know, I know, this is the worst the 1990s Skyline, but I don’t care. You can keep your better performing R32s and R34s. I have always loved the look of the R33 the most and I’m sticking to it.

1997 Subaru SVX
This is the only car on my entire list that I actually once owned. It was a brief affair that will be covered in a future article, but needless to say, I wish I had never gotten rid of it. It is so quirky cool.

1998 Subaru Impreza 22B STi
My favourite car of all time. Period. I sat in one once. I nearly passed out.

2000 Ford Mustang Cobra R
I like big wings and I cannot lie. I also like side dump exhausts and rear seat removals for weight savings. Big beefy V8s don’t hurt either.

2000 TVR Speed 12
Alright, I know, this is my second car in 2000s. So, I cheated; sue me. But how can I not include this ludicrous engine with a bit of sheet metal and four tires attached t
