We are back this week for Winged Car Wednesday with an absolute legend. Although it had been around since the 1970s, nearly ever child had a poster of this car on their wall, or wanted one, in the mid-1980s. A starring role in the hit movie Cannonball Run only helped further the legend.
Not only could the Countach have a giant rear wing, that looked like it was ripped right off the tail of a DC-9 jetliner, there was also an optional front wing. Yup, a big ol’ wing on the front, giving it double wings.
