Call me crazy, but I see a perfect project ’80s vehicle sitting here. It’s a 1986 Dodge Mini-Ram Van, or basically, a Dodge Caravan without back windows. It is being offered for not that much money with not that many miles. Oh, and did I mention it has a manual transmission?
I’d keep it mostly as is, but with a 3″-inch drop, a set of 15-inch Rota Rb wheels and a dark grey matte wrap. I’d rock that.

I have this same van in the same gun metal blue metallic. Only mine is an 87 with a 3.0V6/3spd automatic. I did however put an 84-86 front grill/stacked headlight set up on mines and dropped it 3 inches (LeBaron 4dr struts and de-arched leaf springs). Still sitting on stock 14″ wheels (just like the ones in this photo). It’s hard to find a good looking set of 5×100 wheels for it (yes, 5×100 87-90 1st gen. I’m aware of the 4×100 84-86 bolt pattern). I love my little van. Never let’s me down. 80k miles when I bought it nearly 2 years ago (with working AC! Plan to drop in a manual trans and paint it next (and put on some decent looking wheels, if I could find some!).
